Our competitors performed well at the International Mathematical Olympiad

The Hungarian team finished 14th among the 110 participating countries. All of our competitors are returning home with medals: Mátyás Bodor and Ábel Szakács won gold medals, Pál Czanik, Martin Holló, and Boldizsár Varga won silver medals, and István Ádám Molnár won a bronze medal.

Csaba Csapodi received a four-year grant from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences

The MTA-Rényi-ELTE Mathematics Didactics Research Group, led by Csaba Csapodi, was one of the winners of the 2025 application of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Public Education Development Research Program.
