"At the event held in Australia, all six Hungarian competitors returned home with medals, so this year's International Mathematical Olympiad ended with a fantastic Hungarian success. They had six hundred competitors..." - reported Trend Fm, in which the program interviewed Viktor Harangi, the leader of the Hungarian team and senior scientific fellow at the Rényi Institute. At the 66th IMO, the Hungarian youth finished in 14th place, with Mátyás Bodor and Ábel Szakács winning gold medals, Pál Czanik, Martin Holló and Boldizsár Varga winning silver medals, and István Ádám Molnár winning bronze medals. In the interview, Viktor Harangi spoke about the high standard of the competition and the tasks, as well as the impact that participation in the IMO has on the competitors' future opportunities.
