Leírás

Mordell (1952) and Schinzel (2015) studied the diophantine equations xyz=G(x,y), and proved that there are infinitely many solutions in most cases. We show that in the cases left open by Schinzel, the automorphism group is infinite. This allows us to settle all cases when G has degree 3. (Joint work with Jennifer Li.)
