The HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics invites applications for a Rényi Postdoctoral Fellowship in mathematics. The appointment is for a two-year term, starting in September 2026.
Candidates should demonstrate exceptional promise in mathematical research and are expected to take an active part in the scientific life of the Institute. The position carries no teaching duties, and knowledge of Hungarian is not required. It is an advantage if the applicant’s research plan aligns with the institute’s ongoing research activities.
The annual salary is 32,000 EUR, complemented by an annual travel allowance of 1,500 EUR.
