Károlyi Gyula: A few simple constructions in additive combinatorics

We present a few simple observations related to three different topics in additive combinatorics. The first one concerns set addition of multisets in finite groups. Next we present explicit colourings that can be used to demonstrate partition irregularity of certain Diophantine equations. Finally we propose a slight modification of an argument of Imre Ruzsa on restricted set addition along the rows of a rectangular arrangement.
