Gilles Felber: Symplectic Kloosterman sums

Kloosterman sums are an essential object in the study of
automorphic forms and their applications. They admit generalizations to
higher rank in various settings. In this talk, we consider the case of
Siegel modular forms on the symplectic group Sp(2n). We prove a bound
for Kloosterman sums associated to them and give an application to
equidistribution. More precisely, we give a Taylor series argument when
the modulus of the sum is a diagonal matrix with distinct prime powers.
