We remember the „Big Five” mathematical work of its 100-year-old members.

We remember: †János Aczél, external member of the HAS, †Ákos Császár, regular member of the HAS, †István Gaál, professor emeritus and †János Horváth, external member of the HAS.
The outstanding mathematicians born in 1924 will be greeted by Tamás Freund, president of the HAS and Zsolt Páles, regular member of the HAS, president of the Section of Mathematics, and then a short scientific presentations will be held in their honor.
Tamás Freund, president of the HAS, will hand over the Arany János-award to László Fuchs,
Zsolt Páles, president of the Section of Mathematics and greet the presenters and guests.
