Scientific program:
Because of the large number of participants, lectures will be given in two parallel sections. Contributed talks will be 25 minutes long, including discussion. The lecture rooms will have an overhead projector and a small blackboard. Monday evening we will have a reception for the participants and registered accompanying persons, the cost is included in the registration fee.General information about Hungary:Wednesday afternoon will be free, we plan to have a half-day excursion with a dinner. Further details (destination, price, program) will be given upon arrival.
In Hungary the local currency is the Hungarian Forint (HUF). The present exchange rate is one US dollar is about 233 Forints. Major currencies will be accepted for paying accommodation, board and registration fee at the registration.
The weather at Lake Balaton in June, July and August is mostly sunny and warm with the average temperature between 25-30 C. However, rain and cool weather are also conceivable.
Balatonlelle is a lake-shore resort, so you should not forget to bring your swimsuit. Hotel Giuseppe has its own beach which is free of charge for all the registered guests. Balatonlelle is also ideal for cycling, it is mostly flat and there are bike paths.

Note that the train at 8.24 from Déli pályaudvar operates only on Saturdays and Sundays. The train at 20.36 is very slow, arriving at 0.04.

The one-way fare is 1050 HUF (2nd class) or 1575 HUF (1st class). Tickets should be purchased in advance at the ticket offices. Actually, Balatonlelle has two stations, but the fast trains only stop at the main one (``Balatonlelle''). Slower trains stop also at ``Balatonlelle felsõ'' (which is closer to Budapest); make sure you get off at the main station. At the station you can find a big map that will help you to find the conference site. From Balatonlelle station follow the road next to the railway to east (towards Budapest). Hotel Giuseppe is about 1500 m from the station. On June 27 a minibus service will be provided taking luggage from the main station Balatonlelle and Hotel Giuseppe.
From Budapest airport, direct transportation to Balatonlelle can also be arranged through the Airport Minibus service upon arrival. A minibus can take 8 passengers; the total fare is about 33.000 HUF. Hence if you wait at the Airport Minibus counter until 8 passengers assemble and then you book a bus together, the individual fare will be 4.200 HUF. If you are interested in this, please let us know, and also tell us your time of arrival and flight number, so we can tell the company about how many passengers they can expect. This data is only for information and no advance reservation is possible for this service, it can be arranged only at the Airport Minibus counter individually.From Budapest by car:
From Budapest follow the signs to the main autoroutes M1 and M7. Take them out of the city and follow M7 towards Balaton when M1 and M7 split just outside the city. Upon reaching Lake Balaton drive on the south shore, the number of the road is 7, and the lake is on the right-hand side. Balatonlelle is about 140 kms (90 miles) from Budapest.From Vienna by car:
Take route 16 to Sopron (in Hungary it becomes route 84). Keep going on until Balatonederics. Change there to route 71 until Keszthely, then take route 76 till Balatonkeresztúr where change for route 7 to Balatonlelle. Drivers in Hungary are not permitted to drink alcoholic beverages at all. Fines are high and checks are frequent. Speed limits are 120 km/h on motorways, 80 km/h on other highways and 50 km/h within city limits and residential areas. All seatbelts in the car should be used and lights should be on out of city limits even during daylight.Important:
