Lunch Menu
During the Instructional Conference, a lunch will be offered free of charge
for registered
participants in Restaurant Kárpátia, a 125-year-old
establishment a few steps away from the Institute. Here is the menu for the
week (special courses will be provided for vegetarians). All menus include mineral water and an after-lunch coffee.
Monday 3 September
- "Mimosa" green salad with hard-boiled eggs and savoury dressing
- Turkey breast medallions in a sauce of Tokaj wine, almonds and raisins
- Pastry roulade with jam and wine sauce.
Tuesday 4 September
- Mushroom soup with thyme
- Chicken fillet grilled with broccolis and cheese, served with pommes frites and salad
- Fruit cake
Wednesday 5 September
- Veal liver parfait with green salad and cranberry cream
- Beef pörkölt (stew) with red wine, served with home-made noodles
- Apricot pudding "Kecskemét" style
Thursday 6 September
- Vegetable cream soup with noodle pearls
- Minced veal steak with potato puree and green salad
- "Vargabéles" with vanilla sauce
Friday 7 September
- Fresh garden salad cavalcade
- Fried cod fillet with rice
- "Deputy's" pastry basket filled with vanilla cream and chantilly
