Ather Gattami: MIMO Communications in Wireless Networks
 In this
talk, we will give an overview of important communications problems that
appear in various engineering fields such as communications theory,
control theory, and information theory. We will show by some examples
that these problems are very closely related. In particular, we will
discuss MIMO coding, its advantages, and fundamentals of the current
state of the art. We will revisit linear optimal MIMO design and
introduce new paradigms that have potential for design improvements.
Finally, we will discuss future research in distributed communication
algorithms.
