I write this second communication in English for the sake of the prospective participants from abroad. Here you find a coincise information on the setup and organization, and the final form of registration. Your final answer should reach me by May 30, the latest - at least if you are to be included into the programme and if you are to enjoy partial or full financial local support for sure. Any later registration is still accepted, to the limit of our possibilities, but then there is no guarantee. Our order for accomodation, meals etc. will be written and sent to the respective partners on May 31.
TIMING, BASIC FACTS
The Third Summer School on Potential Theory, this time organized jointly by the Alfred Renyi Institute of Mathematics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Kecskemet University of Technology (GAMF), will be held in Kecskemet, from July 12 (Monday) till July 16 (Friday) at the Kecskemet University of Technology, at Izsaki str.10, Kecskemet, Hungary.

ACCOMODATION
We stay in the new Student Dormitory of the Kecskemet Technical University on Izsaki str.10, Kecskemet. The two bed rooms are equipped with computer facilities, refrigerators, tv sets etc., and regular cleaning is provided. There are common kitchen, WC and bathrooms on the corridor. With our reervation, we are entitled to use the study rooms as well. (Probably, there will be no souls in the whole building, but at least on the floor, apart from our participants - as was our experience in Szeged last year.) Price: 1500 HUF/night/person in a room shared by two. (1EURO=250 HUF, cca.)
OTHER FACILITIES NEARBY
Open air swimming pool, swimming pool, soccer field, tennis courts etc. are within walking distance or right on campus.
TRAVEL
Kecskemet is on halfway on the main railway line connecting Budapest and Szeged. Travel time is cca. 1 or 1 and a half hour from both cities (depending on train). Trains start frequently (one per our in the morning, e.g.), but there are no late night connection by train. Train timetables will be provided later. From Kecskemet Railway Station bus #1 takes you to Izsaki street.
MEALS
The "Hiros Vendeglato Kft." - the food/meals supplier of the Bacs County Water Works (BCWW) is located within 5 minutes walk from our dormitory. There we can order lunch (which means dinner for Hungarians, that is, the main meal of the day): simple menues for cca. 400 HUF, or extra menues for somewhat more (1 EUR=250 HUF, cca.). We can select our menues from their offers in advance.
My impression is that meals will be cheap and good, as is usual all over the agricultural area of the Hungarian Great Plains. Breakfast has to be solved on our own (we have kitchens and refrigerators at the dormitory), but we can order also supper at the same place, if we want. Your preferences and orders will be asked for in the last communication. The company is open to suggestions/requirements, eg. vegetarian or other special diets can be negotiated with them.
PAYMENT AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Due to technical reasons, we do not require any pre-payment: all partcipants has to pay their bill on site. I have definite promises that for lecturers having no other support we can cover all local costs (lodging, meals). No formal preliminary application is required: if you have already informed me about your support needs, it's recorded, and if not, then please let me know about it.
PARTICIPANTS FROM ABROAD
As you know, Hungary was one of the countries accessing the European Union recently. Hence our guests from the EU can travel without visa and even without passport, i.e. with their personal documents, if these are proper for travel within the EU. We plan to meet all foreign participants right at Ferihegy Airport of Budapest.
Guests from abroad will be personally helped during their travel by some of us, so you need not travel alone from Budapest to Kecskemet. I suggest you to inform me in advance, at your earliest convenience, on your flight arrival, so that we can arrange for your travel. If you wish to stay in Hungary for some more days, I will be glad to help you to organize that, too: please inform me on your plans.
