Realization of three-dimensional polytopes

I will survey some methods for realizing 3-dimensional
polytopes with a given combinatorial structure (graph) and with
small integral coordinates. I particular, I will hightlight
the methods based on Tutte embeddings and the Maxwell-Cremona
correspondence that have led to be current best bounds which
are singly exponential in the number of vertices.
