Conference locations
Please note that the registration and the first day of the conference is going to take place at the CEU building (Central European University; Közép-Európai Egyetem; 1051 Budapest, Nádor u. 9.)
The rest of the conference is going to be held at the Rényi Institute (1051 Budapest, Reáltanoda u. 13-15.)
The CEU building may be reached by a 20-minute walk from the Institute, or by public transport: taking Bus 15 from Ferenciek tere to Erzsébet tér, or taking a metro (2 or 3) or tram (47 or 49) to Deák tér.
For talks at the CEU, we advise the speakers to prepare slides, or use overhead projectors.
At the Rényi Institute, speakers may use slides, overhead projectors, or blackboards.
Microphones and computers for the presentation will be available at both locations.

Social events
On Monday evening at 18:30-21:00, we are going to organize a wine and cheese party at the Rényi Institute. Participants and accompanying persons are welcome to attend.
On Wednesday evening, at 19:00-22:00, we will have a boat trip along with the conference banquet. Invited speakers and those who paid the registration fee may participate free of charge. Participants whose registration fee has been waived, and accompanying persons may purchase a ticket at the registration desk, at the price of 30 EUR.
The boat starts from Jászai Mari tér, Pier 1 (1-es kikötő), at 19:00. Please be on time!
In order to get to the pier, you will have to take public transportation to Jászai Mari tér: you may take Tram no. 2 from Március 15. tér to Jászai Mari tér, or Bus no. 9 from Astoria to Jászai Mari tér, or (from other locations in the city) the Tram 4-6 to Jászai Mari tér (you may change to it at the Nyugati station, which can be accessed by metro). Reaching it from the Rényi Insitute should take about 30-40 minutes.
Once on the square, you will have to go to the north side of the Margit bridge (the side of McDonald's). Walking down to the wharf next to the river by crossing the road, you will see a number of boats. Pier no. 1. is at the northern (far) end, at about 200 m distance from the Margit bridge. Please see the
Google map.
